  14.      Super Power Macros, Techniques and Secrets for Lotus 1-2-3, is a new
  15.      hypertext electronic book about the Lotus macro language in a format
  16.      of a Microsoft Windows 3.1 help file, which contains the equivalent of
  17.      over 1000 pages of a paper bound book.

  19.      Super Power is based on the step-by-step very detailed analysis of
  20.      over 200 commercial macros and is designed for Lotus users of every
  21.      level, who want to master the macro language using clear and detailed
  22.      analysis to achieve a complete understanding of the codes and the
  23.      capabilities of each macro. Super Power is divided into two parts and
  24.      includes a comprehensive table of contents to facilitate the book's
  25.      use, both by novices and experienced professionals. The reader studies
  26.      macro programming by reading the analysis and explanation of actual
  27.      macros, not the other way around.

  29.      Part one contains techniques and useful suggestions that are the
  30.      products of extensive research. Many advanced techniques that have
  31.      never before covered in other books are presented. However, the
  32.      techniques simply explained so the principles are easy to understand.

  34.      Part two contains the detailed analysis of hundreds of real life
  35.      commercial macros, which are divided into different group categories
  36.      based on the action they perform: printing, graphics, copy, move,
  37.      ranges, format, etc. Super Power offers detailed analysis and
  38.      explanation for every macro code and command, and any technique or
  39.      trick that is used to produce the correct results. When Super Power
  40.      analyzes a macro and comes to such a new or unconventional technique,
  41.      it is cross-referenced through hypertext jump to the chapter dealing
  42.      with the same technique, or explains the technique within the macro as
  43.      needed.

  45.      The reader can study the macro language, but also can use these
  46.      macros, which are the most sophisticated and powerful macros ever
  47.      published. The macros built in so that they do not suffer from the
  48.      limitations of other commercial macro libraries. For example: they do
  49.      not demand that the data in a range has to be the same type,
  50.      contiguous or has other limitations. They handle ranges, not just
  51.      columns or a single cell, but a range containing any type of data:
  52.      labels, numbers, formula, blank, @MA and @ERR. If for example the
  53.      macro is designed to change the labels to uppercase, it will ignore
  54.      all the other types of data and will treat only the labels in the
  55.      range. If the macro is designed to multiply all the numbers by a
  56.      factor, it will multiply only and all the numbers in the range and
  57.      will ignore all the other cells.

  59.      The macros handle both 2-D and 3-D ranges transparently, and
  60.      automatically sense what type and version of Lotus 1-2-3 the user uses
  61.      and applies the correct code.
